 Proposal Wallpaper D-Day 600, August 29, 2009 I made this desktop wallpaper/PowerPoint slide to be projected on the screen in our church sanctuary where I proposed to Sarah. I arranged for help to set up the church with candles and rose petals and soft music in order to set the mood for the proposal.
We were celebrating 600 days of dating that day, although it was actually day 601 or 602 by then, but the timing was perfect. |
 Proposal Letters D-Day 600, August 29, 2009 I prepared and printed a trio of letters for Sarah on her special day, and I presented each one coupled with a rose at each meal we shared throughout the day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The letters (and roses) represent three different periods in our relationship: Our Past, Our Present, Our Future.
I know Sarah was expecting the ring and proposal from early in the morning, but I had to make her wait for just the right time, so as to increase her surprise and joy. I think she was satisfied in the end.^^ |
